When she did not come home, her family members reported her disappearance the following day and started a campaign on social networks to ask for the public’s help in finding her.

According to the newspaper Infobae, Vianet’s family members discovered that she had been having a relationship with a fellow driver called Jose Guadalupe, but had broken up with him as he was abusive.

Guadalupe reportedly continued to harass her after she tried to call things off.
