TWO DEAD: Man Kills Beautiful Influencer Lover And Himself With Single Bullet

A wanted man shot his influencer girlfriend and himself in the head with a single bullet during a heated argument.

The single shot rang out after he told his mother to get out of the room where he was arguing with his estranged partner who had apparently dumped him for cheating.

Only a short while earlier, she had shared a video on social media with an eerie, foreshadowing caption saying: “My ex who didn’t write to me for two or three days and who messes around with other girls wants to make up with me.”

Duygu Unutmaz, 19, who had tens of thousands of followers on social media, was apparently shot dead by her 20-year-old boyfriend Muhammet Yusuf Tekin in the Beylikduzu neighbourhood of Istanbul, Turkey’s largest city, on Thursday, 1st December, at around 10:30am.

Tekin, who reportedly had a criminal record and was wanted by the authorities, is said to have put his head next to his girlfriend’s head and pulled the trigger so that the same bullet would kill both of them at the same time.

The murder-suicide reportedly happened during a heated argument.

An unnamed neighbour heard Tekin tell Duygu, who had 21,400 followers on TikTok: “If you don’t want me, why did you come?”

The neighbour added: “Then he pulls the girl and shoots her, and then he gets shot too.”

Muhammet’s mum, who has not been named and who was later taken to a police station along with Muhammet’s older brother to give statements, said: “They told me to get out of the room, then there was a gunshot.”

Police found the two bodies at the scene and just one bullet casing from the single gunshot. Investigators then sent the bodies to a morgue for autopsy.

Tekin reportedly had a significant criminal record and was wanted by the authorities. He had reportedly come home the night before the murder-suicide with the gun.
