Turkish Barber Gives Rooster Trim To Keep Skills Sharp During Lockdown

This is the moment a Turkish hairdresser gives his rooster a trim to keep his skills sharp while his salon remains closed during COVID-19 restrictions.

Yunus Emre Guner, 28, who works as a hairdresser in the north-eastern Turkish province of Rize, shared the footage on social media where it was widely circulated among netizens.

He said he gave the rooster a trim to keep his skills sharp while his business remains closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The frustrated salon owner added that “everyone wants to get back to their businesses, people are hungry!”

In the video, Yunus is seen using a comb and pair of scissors on his patient rooster while asking the bird: “Hair or beard first?”

Yunus told Newsflash: “I’ve been a hairdresser for 13 years. This video was filmed by me on 7th May. Our salon has been closed due to COVID-19 so I wanted to show that my scissors will always be in my hand.”

He added: “I love my profession. I hope these COVID-19 restrictions come to an end soon. Everyone wants to get back to their businesses, people are hungry!”
