Heidi Klum and her fiancee Tom Kaulitz were blasted for their looks at a gala with Klum’s dress being compared to a dressing gown and Kaulitz’s appearance to that of bearded woman Conchita Wurst.

Heidi Klum, 46, and her fiancee Tom Kaulitz, 29, appeared on the red carpet in the French capital of Paris for the Amfar Gala which raises money for AIDS research.

Klum seemed relaxed as she appeared at the gala, taking the time to sign autographs and pose for selfies with fans.

The pictures she took with her fiancee at the entrance of the gala at the Peninsula Hotel raised some eyebrows with their fans who were not too pleased with the two stars’ appearance.

Klum, wearing a daring kimono dress with open front showing her cleavage, was blasted for her choice of dress by her fans according to German tabloids.

One netizen wrote: “Usually always perfect, but this time unfortunately nothing is right. Make-up and hairstyle make you look very old, dear Heidi. Wearing that dress is an absolute no-go.”

Another netizen wrote: “I do not like your eye make-up, it makes you look very old.”

Some even compared Klum’s dress to a “dressing gown” unsuitable for an official gala.

Her toyboy fiancee Kaulitz, who rose to fame as the guitarist of the band Tokyo Hotel, was also criticised for his look, with some even comparing him to Austrian bearded woman Conchita Wurst who won the Eurovision song contest in 2014 with the song “Rise Like a Phoenix”.

One netizen wrote: “Conchita Wurst with a woman in a dressing gown.”

Another netizen wrote: “The beauty and the beast, although now I’m asking myself who the beauty is.”

And another netizen concluded that “I am slowly starting to find Tom’s hair prettier than Heidi’s”.

Klum and Kaulitz looked happy together in Paris and just a few months earlier, the two were spotted sharing a passionate kiss in the arrivals hall of LAX Airport in Los Angeles.
