Trio Bludgeons Homeless Man To Death With Bars For Breaking Styrofoam Box

This is the moment three men bludgeon a homeless man to death with bars after he broke a Styrofoam box.

The 40-year-old homeless man was allegedly clubbed to death by three suspects, who are also reportedly homeless, after a fight in the area of Setor de Clubes Sul in the Federal District in Brazil on Tuesday, 26th October.

His body was found with head injuries the following morning.

The victim has been named as Valmir Oliveira Pereira Sena and two of the suspects have been arrested while the police hunt down the third, who was still unidentified as of Wednesday morning, according to police chief Mauricio Iacozzilli.

According to the news site G1, a row broke out after the victim broke a Styrofoam box belonging to one of the suspects and also allegedly hit him.

The suspect along with two others then launched the brutal attack on Sena.

In the CCTV footage of the attack, the victim is seen lying on the ground as the trio repeatedly hits him with what appear to be blunt instruments made of metal and wood, as shown in a photo of the seized weapons released by the police.

The suspects are then seen fleeing down the stairs and running off as the victim lies motionless on the ground.

Police are reported in local media as saying that two of the suspects have been detained while a third is still on the run.

According to the State Secretariat for Public Security, the Federal District has reported 225 homicides so far in 2021. The number is 16.7 percent lower than the same period last year with 270.
