This trained nurse – who has also been working as a prostitute ever since she was 18 – says she is currently providing sexual services to OAPs in German retirement homes.

Sex worker Nadine Kopp, 35, from the city of Cologne in Germany was forced to take a break from her regular job and is currently working in a care home.

However, she said she would return to her old job as soon as circumstances allow. Prostitution is legal and regulated in Germany.

The woman, who is a trained geriatric nurse, said: “I have been a sex worker ever since I was 18.”

She emphasised that she made the decision herself and she has not regretted it, adding: “Nobody forced me to do it.”

Nadine explained how during a session with an older client he asked her whether it had ever occurred to her to offer her services in a retirement facility.

After thinking about it for a while, she decided to give it a try due to her experience as a trained geriatric nurse.

She explained to German daily Bild how it works: “Usually, carers are the ones to book me on behalf of the seniors. They clarify beforehand with the nursing homes’ management whether my visit would be possible.”

Nadine continued: “Some facilities that are more accepting of the ‘sex’ topic often have rooms where I can retreat with the customers and be undisturbed.”

According to the 35-year-old woman’s experience, older people often seek something different to just “getting down to business” and ask for “kissing and cuddling” instead.

Nadine emphasised the importance of breaking silence and speaking openly about social taboos by saying: “Sick and old people also have tenderness and intimacy needs.”
