TRAGIC ACCIDENT: Boy Aged 7 Dies After Sticking His Head Outside Bus Window And Hitting It Against A Post

A boy has tragically lost his life after he stuck his head out of a bus window and hit a post.

The seven-year-old boy, whose identity was not disclosed, was on his way to a pilgrimage with his family to celebrate ‘Our Lady of Guadalupe’ on Sunday, 11th December 2022.

The accident occurred in one of the streets of the Quinta Maria neighbourhood in the city of Veracruz, in Mexico.

Witnesses claimed that at one moment the boy just randomly stuck his head out of the window when he was hit by a post as the driver approached the side of the road.

He reportedly died at the scene and was left in the back of the bus.

Red Cross paramedics who went to the scene could only confirm the poor boy’s death.

Meanwhile, the driver got out of the vehicle and fled the scene before the police arrived.

The tragic story distressed netizens who criticised the child’s parents on social media platforms.

Facebook user ‘Carmen Cunurana Ale’ said: “That’s why parents should always teach their children not to put their heads out when they’re travelling on the bus.”

A second user named as ‘Sonia Rodriguez’ said: “My parents always taught me to never stick my head out the window of a vehicle.”

And user ‘Acor M Msilla’ commented: “I remember what they always told us as children. Don’t stick your head out the car window. Poor little creature.”

It is currently unclear whether the police have launched a search for the driver.
