Slovenian traffic cops were stunned when they stopped this vehicle driven by a 20-year-old man without a driving licence and spotted his completely worn out tyres.
The young Nissan Juke owner was stopped by the authorities in the north-eastern Slovenian city of Maribor and the unnamed man was found to be driving without a licence, according to local media.
However, the police were even more surprised by the condition of the vehicle’s front tyres, which appear completely bald in the photos.
The police said the tyres had a tread depth well below the legal minimum and appeared like they had virtually no depth at all like a racing slick tyre.
Reports said that the rear tyres were also in a poor condition, but did not mention whether they just about passed the minimum tread depth.
As the 20-year-old motorist had not passed his driving test and was driving a vehicle with illegal tyres, his Nissan Juke was confiscated, according to local media.
Reports said that he has been fined 400 EUR (351 GBP) for the worn tyres and will face further punishment for driving without a licence.
