This is the shocking moment a young man falls from the window of his sixth-floor holiday apartment and crashes on the ground below – and somehow survives.

Aman T., 20, from Kyrgyzstan, was on holiday in the resort city of Antalya in the Turkish province of the same name when he was caught on camera falling from the window of his rented apartment.

The new site Haberler said the incident occurred in the city’s Yener Ulusoy Boulevard in the neighbourhood of Kizilsaray at around noon.

As seen in the CCTV footage of a nearby workplace, the young man falls and hits the ground with a bone-shattering thud.

Several people witnessed the incident and called the emergency services.

Paramedics on the scene gave him first aid and then transferred him to the Antalya Training and Research Hospital.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident.

The new site Haberturk reported that the police believe the tourist may have been trying to kill himself.

There have been no further updates on the young man’s condition or extent of his injuries.

It is unknown whether Aman’s friends, who were staying in the same holiday apartment, were with him at the time of the incident.

The investigation continues.
