This is the touching moment a caring young girl feeds her sick mother noodles as she lies in a hospital bed, even blowing on them to keep them cool.

The video was filmed in the city of Shaoxing in the Chinese province of Zhejiang, and was shared on Douyin, which is what TikTok is called in China and where it has been widely circulated since 1st November.

According to the news site Sina, the girl and her younger brother were visiting their sick mother in hospital when the girl opened a large container of noodles and fed her mum.

In the footage, the mother is seen lying in the hospital bed as her two children squat beside the bed next to a tub of noodles.

The girl uses chopsticks to grab a mouthful before standing up and walking over to her mum and feeding her the noodles as the little boy looks on and apparently mimics his mother’s chewing.

Meanwhile, the girl watches intently to make sure her mum finishes her mouthful before squatting down to get more noodles on the chopsticks.

Her cute brother seems to copy his sister’s actions, squatting to the floor when she does and standing upright as the girl gets to her feet and blows on the next mouthful of noodles as the footage ends.
