This is the moment a toddler walking behind his dad is run over twice by a clueless driver who fails to spot the boy in a hotel car park.
The tragic accident happened outside the Hanlinyan Hotel in Hefei, capital of East China’s Anhui Province, with the child declared dead after having been run over by both front and rear wheels on the car.
CCTV footage from the car park shows the boy walking behind his father, who is wearing a red jacket, after the pair exit the hotel lobby on 2nd May.

However, as the dad rounds the front of a black SUV, he fails to notice his son lagging behind, and the motorist does not appear to spot the small child either.
The SUV is driven forwards and knocks the boy over, running over him as the father goes round the back of the car to look for his son.
The boy is finally revealed to be under the car, but he is run over a second time by one of the rear wheels.
The driver then gets out to check what he has driven over and witnesses, including the dad, rush over to the boy shortly after.
Authorities say the child was taken to hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead due to fatal crush injuries.
They have released no further details as investigations continue into the tragedy.
