Top Models Flown In For Neymars Controversial NYE Bash

These are just some of the stunning models flown into Brazil from places as far-flung as Miami and Barcelona for football star Neymar’s week-long New Year’s Eve bash dubbed ‘Neymarpalooza’ by international media.

The mansion rented by the 28-year-old football star in the municipality of Mangaratiba on south-eastern Brazil’s Costa Verde (Green Coast) is said to be full of international jet-setters invited at the star’s behest.

Brazilian models Camila Remedy and Fernanda Brum arrived at the mansion on 28th December by private jet from the southern Brazilian city of Porto Alegre.

“Let’s go by jet to end the year with glamour,” they posted on Instagram.

Models Kiki Passo, Michelle Nevius and Jessica Bartlett flew in directly from Miami, invited by Neymar and his pals via Instagram Direct.

Photos posted to Instagram by Brazilian influencer Ana Liz Bittencourt show the wristband that guarantees access to the five-day jamboree, which has been estimated to have cost the football star around BRL 4 million (GBP 568,000).

Amongst the influencers and models are said to be a number of athletes and even Neymar’s ex-wife, 27-year-old Carol Dantas.

The footballer has avoided posting about the party on Instagram where he boasts 144 million followers. However, news of the bash has already hit the international press and garnered heavy criticism due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The footballer has been criticised for hosting an event that could spread the virus and its lavishness in times of hardship.

Brazil is one of the countries worst affected by the pandemic, with the third-highest number of cases and second-highest number of deaths in the world.

Neymar has often been criticised for his party lifestyle. However, he is also widely loved in his native Brazil where he is the national team’s second-highest goalscorer behind Pele.
