A severed tongue flew more than 80 feet through the air when three died in a gruesome motorbike crash.

Yakup Yildiz, 24, and a 16-year-old female pillion passenger died when they hit a hairdresser on the Gazi Boulevard, in the Dudenbasi District of the city of Kepez, in Turkey’s south-west Antalya Province at around 1 am, on Tuesday, 14th June.

Fevzican Derin, 24 – who was trying to cross the road after finishing work – is said to have died at the scene of the accident.

Witnesses say the biker had been performing stunts when he hit Derin at high speed.

His passenger was named as schoolgirl Sude Ozkardes, 16.

Emergency workers found that a severed tongue from one of the three dead had flown 25 metres (82 feet) along the road, bitten off in the high-impact smash.

The footage reportedly shows Yildiz performing dangerous stunts on his motorbike just two weeks before the deadly crash.

One shows him racing at high speed while he jumps up to perform a wheelie while he stands on the bike’s seat.

An unnamed family member of the 16-year-old victim said she was a third-year student with good grades at the Gebiz Imam Hatip High School and had been studying to take her university entrance exams next year.
