A toddler who amazed medics after being thrown out of a fifth-floor window by his crazed dad has been allowed to leave hospital and incredibly is expected to make a full recovery.
The shocking incident took place in the Russian capital Moscow when the boy’s dad, named Leonid Kudryavtsev, 24, arrived at his mother-in-law’s home where the two-year-old boy was living earlier in the month, on 4th August.
According to reports, a row broke out and the suspect threw his young son out of the fifth-floor window.

The boy’s grandmother witnessed the shocking incident, however, bystanders on the street were the first to call the emergency services.
After the incident, Kudryavtsev reportedly fled the scene barefoot, wearing a T-shirt and shorts.
According to REN TV, the boy was conscious the whole time he was lying on the tarmac in his nappy and first spoke to helpful bystanders and then paramedics who arrived on the scene. The lad repeated that he was in pain but was still conscious.

People who witnessed the incident were shocked that the boy was even alive, however, it can happen that children survive circumstances in which adults will die.
Experts in the past in similar incidents have noted that children have the advantage of simple physics, with chubbier bodies and a high proportion of body water making them more resilient to injury. They also benefit from more padding and have the added advantage of being able to heal more quickly.
The news site Gazeta said the child was transported to the hospital in a serious condition.

Kudryavtsev was arrested the following day and was sent for psychiatric analysis after reportedly telling officers that his son was evil and that he was only trying to help him.
The boy’s mother, who was restricted in her rights for a while for unknown reasons, has now obtained a job as a waitress near her place of residence and provided a certificate of employment to the guardianship authorities so that she can take care of the boy. Her application is under consideration.
It was pointed out that psychologists are not working with the boy because he has already forgotten what happened and they think it is not worth reminding him of the terrifying incident.

The miracle toddler has been released from the hospital and doctors do not expect him to have any long-term problems with his musculoskeletal system.
Doctors said his worst injury from the fall was a hip fracture, while the young lad still has metal pins in his broken right leg that will be removed in four to six weeks.
The boy also suffered broken ribs and a collapsed lung, but medics said he has almost recovered from those injuries.

After being discharged from hospital, the boy remains under his grandmother’s care as the investigation into his father continues.
