The thug seen in this shocking viral video as he throws a female dog walker to the ground has been arrested despite shaving his head and wearing glasses to try to hide.

The incident was filmed in the municipality of Miguel Hidalgo in the central Mexican capital Mexico City and was shared on Facebook by netizen ‘Anet Baca Teran’ where it has been viewed 2.7 million times.

In the footage, the woman is seen walking her dog on the road on its lead.

Suddenly, three dogs without a lead run over and while the woman tries to move her pooch away from the yapping trio, a stocky man runs up behind her.

Without a word of warning, the man shoves her over hard and she crashes to the ground, and reportedly dislocates her shoulder.

He then goes to kick her dog, but stops short and ends up exchanging words with the woman.

According to local media, the woman suffered a dislocated shoulder and a blow to her forehead as well as cuts and scrapes to her hands and arms.

Reports said the incident took place on 3rd September 2019, but the authorities have only tracked down the suspect, identified as Carlos Antonio, now.

The victim’s daughter told reporters: “My mum dislocated her shoulder and suffered a strong blow to her forehead as well as scratches on her hands and arms.

“We initially did not follow up on the complaint because the injuries were considered minor.”

Local prosecutors said that Carlos Antonio has tried to alter his appearance since the incident, and that he shaved his head and started wearing glasses.

According to reports, the suspect is being held in custody while a judge decides on the next course of action.
