This is the moment a burly gunman pulls a gun on a former goalkeeper and his pro footballer son who are dining in a restaurant with young family members.

The incident took place in the northern Serbian capital Belgrade when 21-year-old FK Teleoptik defender Aleksa Damjanac was eating lunch with his dad, former Partizan goalkeeper Nikola Damjanac, 47, and other family members.

In the CCTV footage viewed over 100,000 times on Facebook, a burly man is seen entering the restaurant and approaching Aleksa, who plays in the second tier of the Serbian league system.

The stocky man, whose identity is unknown, taps the footballer on the shoulder and then says something to him in front of his family.

The aggressor then slaps Aleksa’s head and his father jumps to his feet to defend him.
However, a friend of the burly man enters the restaurant and immediately hits the former goalkeeper dad.

The brave dad shields his son as the stocky man takes out a gun and appears to cock it.

The young defender flees the restaurant and trips up outside as his dad tries to calm the situation.

Meanwhile, several people with the gunman hurry him away from the family’s table and they flee the restaurant.

According to local media, the motive behind the group’s threatening behaviour is currently unclear.

The local authorities have yet to confirm whether they are investigating the incident.
