An armed thug shot his girlfriend’s two teenage daughters and their teen pal dead before sexually assaulting the siblings’ terrified 12-year-old sister.
The bloodbath – which ended when the suspect took his own life – took place at a home in the city of Galena Park, Texas State, USA on 18th February.
Police said evil Humberto Valdez-Saldana, 38, fatally shot sisters Melany Torres, 13, and 19-year-old Sayuri Gil, who was six months pregnant.
He also shot 14-year-old family friend Laisha Perez dead in the killing spree.
Sayuri’s one-year-old child survived, as did the siblings’ 12-year-old sister, who was terrified when she saw the teenagers slain before her eyes.
But her ordeal was not over.
Valdez-Saldana then “sexually abused” the girl before ordering her to run out of the home naked.
He later turned the gun on himself. When police arrived on the scene, he was already dead.
Local media said the killings were carried out following an argument while the sisters’ mother was not at home.
Investigators believe the motive may have been jealousy.
A neighbour who found the 12-year-old as she ran from the property told local media: “She was screaming, ‘He killed my friend. Why my friend?
“‘She had nothing to do with this. He also killed my sister and made me take off my clothes.'”
Valdez-Saldana had been with the victims’ mother for about two years.
Before that, he had been married for 16 years and had four children.
His ex-wife has since revealed that he was not in their lives at the time of the slayings.
On an online fundraising page, Estephany Ayala Flores wrote: “Hi, My name is Estephany Ayala Flores. This fundraiser is to help my family that are experiencing a horrible tragedy.
“This past weekend we lost two beautiful girls: Sayuri Gil, 19 (6m pregnant, expecting a second daughter) & Melany Torres, 13. There were only 2 that survived that night.
“My cousins 1y old daughter and my 12y old cousin – sister of Sayuri and Melany.
“My aunt, the mother of the girls, is the sole provider of the home and is unable to work due to this and my 12y old cousin will need therapy.”
She added: “Please help my family raise money for what’s to come. All donations will go to my aunt, mother of the deceased Evelyn Izaguirre. Any monies left after the funeral, will go to Sayuri’s 1y old daughter and help the 12y old survivor with therapy.”
At the time of writing, it had raised USD 6,467 USD of a goal of USD 20,000.
