Thug Burns Down House With Wife And Stepdaughters Inside

A 37-year-old mother has suffered 80-percent burns to her body after her husband allegedly set fire to their house with her and her two eldest daughters inside.

The incident took place in the city of La Plata in the eastern Argentine province of Buenos Aires when 60-year-old Hector Carrizo allegedly set fire to the family home with three people inside during an argument.

According to local media, the 37-year-old mother named Romina Videla, who has three daughters with the suspect and four from a previous relationship, suffered 80 percent burns to her body in the blaze.

Reports said that the youngest children were taken out of the house while the argument was still going on, and that the victim was with her two eldest daughters when Carrizo set fire to the building.

The two daughters reportedly managed to get out in time, but their mother suffered serious burns.

The victim is currently in critical condition at the Hospital Alejandro Korn de Melchor Romero.

Her friend Daniela told local media: “She is in intensive care and nobody can visit her because of the quarantine measures. Her kidneys and other organs have been affected.”

According to reports, the suspect has been arrested and remains in police custody.

Meanwhile, the victim’s children are being looked after by her former partner. The children’s names and ages are currently not known.
