This is the nail-biting moment when two kids who are playing on an electric trike narrowly avoid a crash after they lose control and shoot out into the street in eastern China.
The scary event took place in the city of Linyi, in the coastal Chinese province of Shandong.
CCTV footage recorded on 7th November shows two kids sitting on the tricycle and playing with the handles when they suddenly start moving backwards and onto the nearby street almost at the same moment as a lorry drives up.
The playful duo accidentally fall off the trike and onto the ground as a third child tries to help them, but ends up covering his ears and apparently screaming in fear.

Luckily, the lorry driver sees the two children tumbling over on the street and hits the brakes just in time, preventing a tragedy.
Worried witnesses rush over to the kids’ aid and pull them up off the ground, making sure they are okay as they dust them off.
Mr Wang, the owner of a nearby shop, told local media that he let the kids play on his tricycle, but forgot to take the key out of the ignition.

Thankfully, the duo were left without a scratch, Mr Wang said.
