Three Children Crushed By Car Driven By Teen Miraculously Escape Serious Injury

This is the shocking moment three children are crushed by a car driven by a 15-year-old schoolboy, but all incredibly escaped serious injury, and are now back home with their parents.

The incident took place in the neighbourhood of Monte das Oliveiras in the city of Manaus in the northern Brazilian state of Amazonas on the night of Friday, 23rd July.

CCTV footage shows how several children run down the street when a red Ford EcoSport suddenly bursts through a property’s garage door in reverse and straight into three of them.

Two are knocked to the ground underneath the detached garage door, and the car reverses over them, crushing a third child between the SUV and the wall.

The other children can then be seen running back over to the injured trio in shock while a number of adults also come to their aid.

The footage was released on Saturday, 31st July, and, according to reports, the person responsible for the accident was a 15-year-old boy who was in his grandfather’s car.

One of the hit children was an eight-year-old boy, who suffered head trauma and a deep cut to his head that required 23 stitches.

Another was a nine-year-old girl, who suffered a broken arm and a badly injured leg, and the third was an 11-year-old child, who escaped with just light scratches to the leg.

They were taken to hospital following the accident, but all three were back at home recovering at the time of reporting.

The boy responsible for the accident is reportedly no longer living on the street for fear of reprisals, and his granddad, who owns the car, is reportedly providing assistance to the victims.

It was not reported if the police got involved or if any charges have yet been made.
