This is the moment a car careers onto a petrol station forecourt and ploughs into a seated security guard who is sent flying before a number of thugs get out and rob people at gunpoint.
The incident took place in the neighbourhood of Marabaixo 3 in the city of Macapa in the Brazilian state of Amapa at around 8.30 pm on Friday, 15th October.
Security camera footage shows the white saloon car speeding onto the petrol station forecourt and ploughing into three plastic chairs.

A security guard is seen sitting on one of the chairs and he is sent flying when hit at speed by the front of the vehicle.
Three men wielding handguns are then seen getting out of the car while its driver waits inside, ready to make a quick getaway.
One man is seen robbing an attendee who had run over to her injured colleague and another is seen mugging a customer while a third man goes over to the injured security guard off-camera.

After collecting the victims’ belongings, the three men are then seen getting back in the car before speeding off.
According to the news portal G1, the suspects stole money and personal items from the attendant and stole BRL 1,100 (GBP 143) from the customer.
The perpetrators managed to flee the scene and, at the time of reporting, have not been caught. It is unclear if the police, who are investigating the case, have managed to ascertain their identities.

The nature and extent of the security guard’s injuries are also unclear.
