This is the couple dubbed ‘the cherubs from hell’ who have set the world record for the most body modifications.

Victor Hugo Peralta, 52, and his wife Gabriela Rios, 51 – from Buenos Aires, Argentina – say they have clocked up more than 100 tattoos, implants and piercings over their bodies.
Tattoo artist Hugo even had implants put under the inkings on his forehead to make them look 3D.
He told Newsflash in an exclusive interview: “Piercings, subdermal implants, transdermals, an eyeball tattoo, a forked tongue, scarifications, ear pointings, cartilage cuts, and hundreds of tattoos.

“The two of us have already exceeded a hundred modifications.
The pair met at a motorcycle event 24 years ago after finding they were both obsessed with tattoos and altering their bodies.
But the celebrity of becoming a world record holder set them on a new path for even fame,

Victor explained: “This changed our life, giving us the greatest prize, which was opening the doors to the world for doing what we love.
“In 2012, Guinness looked for us and offered us to compete among 20 other couples.
“We were chosen for a new category – ‘most modified couple on the planet’ – so that’s how our appearance in the Guinness books began in 2014.

“Since then, we have maintained our record, and in January we will break our own record again.”
When asked about other people’s reactions, Victor explained: “People are surprised or scared when they see things outside of the stereotypes.

“But when they investigate or talk to us, they realise that we are human beings that are different from sight but with many values like everyone else, lovers of art and animals, of life’s journeys and with a great affection for body art.”
