This is the moment the first openly gay homosexual couple to play at Wimbledon give each other a heartwarming kiss at the net after playing against each other.

Belgian tennis players and couple Alison Van Uytvanck and Greet Minnen, 21, met each other in the first round of the Loqui Moly Open held in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Van Uytvanck, 25, came out as the victor of the match in three sets (6-4, 1-6, 6-1) and in the video the couple can be seen greeting each other at the net after the match. The pair share a warm embrace before they give each other a peck on the lips.

Netizen ‘baddragonite’ who recorded the video told Golder’s: “I love the message behind the video and I think everyone should see it.”

The couple made history early July at Wimbledon as the first openly gay couple to play doubles together. They won their first match but lost in the second round to Chang Hao-ching and Latisha Chan.

Van Uytvanck is set to play against Romanian Laura Ioana Paar tomorrow (Wednesday) in the round of 16 at the Loqui Moly Open.
