Exactly how much the young royal will receive in 2022 will not be known until the next Budget Day in September 2021.

According to AD, the issue of Princess Amalia’s’ allowance has been a source of contention in parliament in recent years and is expected to cause controversy during the discussion of the budget of the House of the King, which falls under the portfolio of the Prime Minister, as Minister of General Affairs.

However, the allowance is reportedly part of the Constitution and the amounts and system have already been approved by parliament and laid down in the Financial Statute of the Royal House.
