Teen Stabbed To Death In Church As Pastor Watches

This is the moment an autistic 16-year-old boy is stabbed inside a church in front of the pastor and other worshippers.

The shocking scenes were recorded at an evangelical church in the 307 Norte area of the city of Palmas in the state of Tocantins, in central Brazil.

In the video, 16-year-old Matheus Caldeira dos Santos Queiros can be seen walking into the church at the end of the service and he appears to speak to the pastor, who has not been named in reports.

Another man follows him into the church and walks up to the stage before pulling a knife from his waistband and attacking the teen.

The youngster is knocked to the ground where the aggressor reportedly stabbed him before the victim gets to his feet and runs out of the church.

The attacker then catches up with him and reportedly stabbed him again. The youngster was reportedly stabbed in his chest and had the blade embedded in him.

The Military Police said they were called by the pastor and the teenager died at the scene, according to reports. The culprit fled the scene.

The pastor reportedly told the cops that the youngster had told him someone was trying to kill him and stayed in the church until the end of the service.

Investigator Israel Andrade told reporters: “We have managed to identify the culprit, we are working to arrest him as quickly as possible. There were witnesses and security cameras which helped us. What is not yet clear if the motive for the crime, which we are yet to understand.”

The victim’s grandmother told reporters the victim was “boy of the church” and reports state his parents confirmed he was autistic.

He had reportedly left his house to buy a sandwich.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been reported.
