Teen Shares Incredible Transformation From Having Severe Acne From Stress During Pandemic To Being Acne Free In 6 Months

This teen who suffered extreme acne caused by stress at the same time as the coronavirus pandemic has taken to social media to show off her amazing transformation to being acne-free six months later with just one treatment.

Fatima Salazar earned herself 14.3 million ‘likes’ on TikTok after she showed off her remarkably clear skin just six months after having severe acne.

The Mexican explained that her pimples first started to appear on her chin, which she suspected was caused by wearing a face mask to protect herself against COVID-19.

Her pimples started to get worse, so she visited a dermatologist, who agreed with her that her face mask had caused them. However, after weeks of treatment, the pimples worsened further.

Fatima revealed in a video: “My face started bleeding, and not because I squeezed them, but because when I went to sleep I would wake up with blood and scabs. It was very painful.”

Fatima then changed doctor, who gave her an explanation she had not previously considered but that made sense: her acne was caused by stress.

It was not revealed what caused the stress, but the acne appeared during the time of the pandemic when she was wearing the face mask, and many people experienced severe stress and anxiety as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Mexico has seen almost three million people infected, with 245,000 deaths, according to the latest statistics from Johns Hopkins University.

The specialist prescribed Fatima anti-anxiety pills, and despite some flare-ups, her acne for the most part went away.
