A 19-year-old trainee hairdresser has been arrested for fatally stabbing a man in the neck at a bus stop after he groped her behind.
The incident took place in the German city of Augsburg after the 28-year-old victim, identified as Stefan D., allegedly grabbed the teenager’s bum.
The incident resulted in Stefan D. squaring up to the teenage girl’s male friend, 27-year-old Hermann S., before she allegedly stabbed him the neck.
The suspect, identified as Fabienne K., reportedly said to her friend: “Come on, let’s clear off, I don’t want to end up in jail because of this.”
The teenager, who recently lost her job as a trainee hairdresser for not turning up often enough, has been remanded in custody on suspicion of manslaughter.
She is being held at the Aichach woman’s prison. Her lawyer said she is in a state of shock over the allegations made against her.
Eyewitnesses said that the victim had clearly been drinking, and his family confirmed that he also had a drug problem and was attending a rehab centre. He also had convictions for assault and violence, according to the police.
His girlfriend, who was waiting at home for him to return, wrote on Facebook after his death: “Baby, I’ll never forget you. We had so many plans and dreams together and now they have just been taken away from us.”
The investigation continues.
