This is the teenager who arrived home in tears after his school teacher allegedly cut his hair into a lop-sided fringe in front of his schoolmates because she thought his hair was too long.
The bizarre incident took place at school number 2 located in the city of Pallasovka in south-western Russia’s Volgograd Oblast region.
The boy identified as Elkhan N., 14, reportedly arrived home in tears after his Russian teacher cut his fringe in front of the entire class.
His mother, Gulnara Muntaeva, said: “It is such a humiliation. He came home in floods of tears.”
The incident took place during the last class scheduled for that day and was reportedly caused by Elkhan’s fringe being too long.
Gulnara, who is raising three children by herself, added: “She cut his fringe really short and uneven in front of all of his classmates. Without his consent.”
The concerned mother added that after the incident her son, who is reportedly not the best student at school, started talking about suicide.
The teenage boy is described as quiet, reserved, and someone who tries to avoid conflict.
Gulnara added: “He came to me. I took a photo of him and he is still crying.”
Local media report it is not the first time Elkhan has bee bullied by the teacher.
Local media claim that after the incident went public the teacher has apologised to the boy.
It is unclear whether the woman, whose name is not reported, will get fired or not or if an investigation has been launched.
