This is the moment a taxi crashes through the wall of a multi-storey car park and plummets to the street below, crashing on cars waiting at the lights and killing one person.
The incident was filmed at a Home Plus store in the district of Yeonje in the South Korean city of Busan on 30th December.
According to local reports, the taxi crashed through the car park wall on the fifth-floor of the Home Plus store and fell about 20 metres (66 feet) to the ground below.
The taxi hit the road and bounced onto a queue of cars waiting at the traffic lights.
The taxi driver, an unnamed man in his 70s, was killed in the accident and seven other people were injured, including two pedestrians.
The building’s fourth to sixth floors are occupied by the car park and the accident site was located near the exit leading down from the fifth floor, according to the police.
A local shop owner said: “I was surprised by the loud ‘thump’ and went out and saw an overturned vehicle and several damaged cars. There was debris scattered around, it was truly a mess.”
In the aftermath, 13 vehicles were found to have been directly or indirectly damaged, including vehicles parked nearby.
A fire sparked in the taxi immediately after the accident and firefighters were sent to the scene.
The city street was closed while the local authorities dealt with the fire and aftermath, causing heavy traffic congestion.
The police investigation is ongoing.
