TAT’S A RIGHT MESSI: Influencer Who Tattooed ‘Messi’ On Forehead Now Regrets It

An influencer who shocked his followers by getting ‘Messi’ inked in huge letters across his forehead has told how he hates the tattoo less than two weeks later.

Digital creator Maicol Quinonez – also known as Mike Jambs from Colombia – shocked his followers when he posted a video of himself getting the bizarre inking.

The tattoo was a tribute to World Cup hero Lionel Messi and the posting carried the caption ‘Meeting the challenge. I love you, @leomessi’.

He also had ‘D10s’ – a play on the Spanish word for ‘God’ and Messi’s shirt number – inked on one cheek and three stars representing Argentina’s World Cup wins on the other.

But the influencer – who boasts more than 143,000 followers on Instagram – was mocked mercilessly for the inking.

Quinonez says he completely regrets the tattoo in a new video he shared on social media networks on Wednesday, 28th December.

He said: “I am sorry I got the tattoo, because instead of bringing me positive things, it got me thousands of negative things, both personally and in the family.

“I didn’t think I would say this so soon. I was very proud [of it] the first few days, but I regret it.

“They just say that I am not a positive example for society.”

The influencer then added: “Be careful with your words. You don’t know the damage you can do to someone because of social media. You don’t know how you can destroy your life.”

But this again did not amuse netizens, as most of them claimed he only invented getting the tattoo so he would increase his follower count.

User named ‘sebastianm’ said: “That is obviously not real, above all it will heal that way, invent something better.”

While another one, named ‘jeanfranco.88’ laughed: “Hahahahaha, well now go and wash your face uahaha.”

And then user ‘Javi Armand Orjuela’ added: “Fake, a whole show!”
