Salif Gueye, 22, made a name for himself after he uploaded a video of him performing a street dance to Michael Jackson’s 1979 hit ‘Rock with You’. The video, which was shot in Paris near the Pompidou Centre, was so popular it ended up being shared by American basketball star LeBron James and actor Dwayne Johnson. Gueye’s original Instagram clip has been viewed 6.3 million times while his account has sky-rocketed to 1.1 million followers as a result. LeBron James shared it on his Instagram profile where it has amassed a further 6.7 million views while Johnson’s version has been seen 2.5 million times, helping to make Gueye an overnight sensation. Known by the nickname ‘Salif la Source’, the young man is already enjoying his newfound fame. The 22-year-old has since released a follow-up on that was filmed on the night of Halloween and features the Frenchman as Michael Jackson in his ‘Thriller’ phase, complete with red jacket and makeup. Gueye told local media: "I have been dancing since the age of three. I always thought it would happen for me one day or another." According to his agent, job offers have started flooding in "like raindrops".
