The racer, a 20-year-old man who was not named for legal reasons, committed numerous serious breaches of the road traffic laws while filming the videos which he then published on YouTube. As well as arresting him, police also seized his computer and his motorbike. They did not reveal what clues on the videos had given the man away and resulted in his arrest. Most of the videos were shot last year and police quickly identified and confirmed that the roads were in Switzerland, where the racer can be seen travelling up to 220 km/h (137 mph) in areas where there was an 80 km/h (50 mph) limit.
