Pics shows: Victim Susanna, 14; An asylum seeker wanted for killing and raping a teenage girl has managed to evade arrest and flee to his native Iraq. A manhunt for the suspect has ended with German cops finding the teenage girl's body but the Iraqi man has reportedly managed to flee the country. German police officers had been searching for a missing 14-year-old teenager only identified by her first name of Susanna for over 10 days in a huge operation. Yesterday, investigators made a gruesome discovery when they found her body in an overgrown patch of forest next to a railway track near Wiesbaden, a city in the central German state of Hesse. A police investigator said: "We all assume that the body is Susanna's. But we cannot say for sure as the corpse was buried." According to local media, who quoted anonymous sources within the Wiesbaden Police, Susanna was strangled to death. They reported that a tool has been found at the murder scene which was allegedly used to strangle Susanna, although the police did not want to confirm this. Forensic investigators also reportedly found evidence strongly hinting the teenage girl was raped. According to German quality daily 'Frankfurter Allgemeine', a manhunt was launched for a 20-year-old asylum seeker from Iraq named Ali Bashar. An internal police memo asked officers to be on the lookout for the man, warning cops to be vigilant as Bashar is known to be extremely violent. Bashar has however managed to escape Germany after the murder and fled to his native country. Reportedly, the police got track of the Iraqi asylum seeker after a witness gave valuable testimony to the police. A 13-year-old boy told the cops that Bashar confessed to him that he killed a teenage girl and even shared the location where the suspect had buried the body. The Iraqi asylum seeker was already under police investigation for alleged resistance towards police officers. Bashar lived with his family in an asylum centre close to the location
