Swings And Roundabouts Filmed Moving On Their Own In Empty Playground On Windless Night

This is the eerie moment swings and roundabouts are filmed moving on their own in an empty playground on a windless night.

The footage was captured by local councillor Joao Paulo Morelli, 39, in the district of Ribeiro dos Santos in the town of Olimpia in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo on an unspecified date around two weeks ago.

The councillor was awoken in the early hours by his dog barking so he went outside where he came across the spooky scene.

He took out his mobile phone and recorded two sets of swings rocking back and forth and a roundabout spinning at full speed, seemingly of their own accord in an empty playground.

The stillness of the trees shows that no wind was blowing at the time, perplexing the councillor, who told news portal G1: “My dog started barking a lot. I woke up, got out of bed, saw there was no one in the garden and decided to go to the front of my house. I heard the noise of the playground equipment and decided to go over.

“It was around 1.15 am. I don’t know if it was my mental state, but it gave me the shivers and I went back inside. I lay down and kept on hearing the noise. It wasn’t windy. The leaves on the trees weren’t moving. The playground equipment is made of iron. The wind wouldn’t be able to move it.”

According to the councillor, it is not the first time the equipment in the playground has moved seemingly of its own accord.

He told G1: “Some police officers also recorded the playground equipment moving by itself. I sent the video to a group and they confirmed it was the same playground. I’ve already seen children crying and saying they didn’t want to come to the playground anymore because they’d seen the figure of a woman.”

As of yet, no explanation has been given for the spooky happenings in Olimpia.

Of the latest such happening, councillor Morelli said: “I got goosebumps that day. It gave me a strange feeling, I remembered the stories, felt a shiver and thought I’d better go back inside. Better not to risk it, right?”
