Suspect Confesses To Killing Nursery School Teacher And Twin Boys, 4, Before Setting Flat Set Ablaze

This nursery school teacher and her twin boys aged four have been found dead and covered in blood in their burned-out flat in Russia and investigators now say that the woman’s partner has confessed to the crime.

They determined that the fire was started in a bid to cover up the murders.

The mum had recently broken up with her husband and had a new boyfriend, and investigators now say they have arrested a 35-year-old man who was the mum’s new partner on the outskirts of the Russian city of Kirovgrad, located in the region of Sverdlovsk Oblast, and he has confessed.

The head of the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Valery Gorelykh, said the suspect was detained at a car wash where he worked and that he had previously convictions, including for murder, according to Russian state-run news agency Interfax.

Gorelykh added that the suspect had met Polina about a month ago after the woman went to the car wash when he worked and they exchanged phone numbers.

The suspect was reportedly already living with a partner and her three children shortly before becoming involved with Polina. But after an argument, he was reportedly kicked out and afterwards he turned to Polina for help, and she helped him rent a flat near her home.

The mum, a local nursery school teacher named as Polina Titova, 36, in local media reports, was found dead by firefighters tackling the blaze at the flat located on Central Boulevard.

The bodies of her two young children, who have not been named but who were twins and four years old, were also found. All three bodies were reportedly covered in blood.
