This stunning Turkish model who was allegedly a prominent businessman’s lover has been under investigation after his wife reported her to the authorities claiming she killed her hubby.

The gorgeous model, identified as Cansu Ates, is accused of being responsible for the death of businessman Mehmet Gazioglu, who died aged 43 in his home in the neighbourhood of Gokturk in the Turkish city of Istanbul on 30th December 2020.

However, his wife Muge Gazioglu has now filed a complaint with the public prosecutor’s office claiming Ates, who was with her husband at the time of the incident, may have been responsible for his death.

She said: “Cansu was my husband’s lover. She was with him that night. She may have had a hand in my husband’s death.”

She added: “Cansu and Mehmet had a fight the day before the incident. Mehmet kicked Cansu out of the house. The servants of the house also witnessed this. Cansu, who was angry at this, may have hurt my husband intentionally.”

The deceased businessman’s wife said that a fight between the two led to Ates harming her husband, and added: “When Mehmet died, only Cansu was with him. I think the incident was her fault.”

Ates, who gained fame after participating in a beauty pageant, was later caught at Istanbul’s main bus station in possession of drugs, which she claimed she was only using because she could not cope with her lover’s death.

Investigations to determine the true cause of the businessman’s death are ongoing at the Forensic Medicine Institute.
