Stunning Influencer Caught Trying To Board Plane With Cocaine In Supplement Capsules

This stunning influencer has been arrested for trying to board a flight to Dubai with cocaine hidden in food supplement capsules and charged with international drug trafficking.

Lais Crisostomo Aguiar, 27, is set to face trial for international drug trafficking following a decision by the 1st Federal Court of Guarulhos in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo.

The court made the decision following a report filed by the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of Sao Paulo on Friday, 1st October.

The influencer and her friend, 44-year-old car washer Peterson de Souza Fontes, were arrested at Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport in the municipality of Guarulhos on 5th August.

The two were stopped from boarding their flight to Dubai after an X-ray scan revealed 416 grammes (14.7 oz) of cocaine in capsules inside food supplement containers in their suitcases.

The two have since been held in preventive custody in a women’s prison in Sao Paulo and a provisional detention centre in Guarulhos respectively.

Aguiar’s lawyers unsuccessfully filed a writ of habeas corpus, claiming their client played no part in the crime and that the suitcase she was carrying belonged to Fontes.

The influencer, who hails from the city of Montes Claros, has 386,000 followers on Instagram, where she flaunted her luxury lifestyle, posing with luxury accessories and high-end cars.

Her posts have since been deleted.

It was not reported what punishment Aguiar faces if convicted.
