Newsflash obtained the footage from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, along with a statement according to which deputies responded to a call about a man asking for help after claiming he had been attacked near his home in Flagler County, in the US state of Florida.

Deputies soon arrived and reportedly spoke to the person who claimed he was attacked by a family member and said the suspect, later identified as Luke Ingram, 19, had also attacked a second family member within the residence.

After arriving at the place of the attacks, deputies located Ingram standing topless near what reportedly appeared to be a deceased male.

Ingram was standing next to a blunt object that deputies suspected might have been used in the attack, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Ingram was ordered to step outside, which he did, but then refused to further cooperate with the deputies.

Body-worn footage shows Ingram getting tased and arrested by deputies after entering a physical struggle.

Paramedics arrived and attempted to render medical aid to the victim, but he was ultimately pronounced dead as a result of blunt-force trauma.

Ingram was taken in for questioning, the Sheriff’s Office said.

After several brief interactions with detectives, Ingram reportedly attempted to escape by pulling his handcuffed arms through his legs and attacking the detectives.

One detective was treated at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.

Ingram was placed behind bars and is currently being held on no bond, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said: “Fortunately, our detectives will recover from their injuries taking this violent offender off the streets and into the Green Roof Inn where he belongs.

“The original crime scene reflected a very violent and brutal attack. We are working diligently to find answers as to what caused this tragic attack on family members early this morning.

“Our condolences to the family and all involved in this case.”
