This is the moment a drunk female shoplifter is caught with clothing items stuffed down her leggings before being repeatedly hit around the head by a store worker.

The incident was filmed in the northern Ukrainian capital Kiev and the footage was posted on Facebook where it has been viewed 315,000 times.

In the videos footage, a woman appears to have shop items stuffed down the front of her leggings as workers shout at her.

The suspected thief is then pushed backwards into the shop where a worker in a red top and brown jacket repeatedly hits her around the head before pushing her into a display stand outside the entrance.

The drunk woman then collects some of her belongings from the ground before staggering backwards and falling over the stand.

It is unclear whether the local authorities are investigating the incident.

Netizen ‘Lidia Marinova’ commented: “I think the woman should be sent to jail for five years and forced to cover the shop’s costs for one year.”

‘Anton Bezrukov’ said: “I support the staff’s actions, some people do not learn from anything else.”

‘Marusya Vasilyeva’ wrote: “According to the law, the workers should not have raised their hands. They should have called the police and let them deal with it.”
