Speeding Cops Crash Into Attractive Couple On Motorbike

This is the moment this pretty 19-year-old girl and her boyfriend are sent flying from on a motorbike by a speeding patrol car which allegedly ran a red light without its siren on.

The incident took place on Sunday in the neighbourhood of Villa Crespo, in the city of Buenos Aires, the Argentine capital and investigators are now checking to see if the patrol car had run a red light.

Local media report the patrol car was taking two suspects to a police station when it crashed into the motorbike Sandra Daiana Constante, 19, and her boyfriend Ariel were travelling on.

In the video, the pair can be seen on the motorbike when the speeding police car comes into shot and crashes into them, sending the pair flying.

The couple were taken to the Durand Hospital with serious injuries while the two police officers and two suspects in the patrol car were treated at the scene.

Constante, who was the passenger on the bike, was confirmed dead hours later from the injuries suffered in the crash.

Silvina Benacar, the officer who was driving the patrol car, has been arrested along with her colleague who was eventually released.

Federal police are investigating the case. The officer and the driver of the motorbike will be sent to a judicial court in order to give statements.

A friend of the victim told local media that local residents claimed that the patrol car had run a red light without the siren on.

The friend added: “The guys were wearing the helmets and Sandra was sent flying due to the crash with the patrol car. The speed they were driving at caught our attention because they were not attending an emergency and there was no rush to cross on a red light.”

The investigation is ongoing.
