This is the shocking moment a teenage couple kissing on the pavement is hit by an out-of-control car and sent flying over a fence.

The smooching teens, who miraculously survived the incident, were struck by the Ford Fusion after a snowfall in the city of Kemerovo in the southern Russian region of Kemerovo Oblast.

According to local media, the incident followed a previous accident involving the Ford Fusion and a Renault.

In the footage, filmed by the dash cam of a driver waiting at a red traffic light, the Renault is seen edging forwards as the motorist attempts to turn left.

However, an oncoming Ford Fusion hits the front of the Renault as the driver turns away to take evasive action.

The vehicle’s momentum takes it into the path of the young couple on the pavement and the out-of-control driver smashes into them, sending the two 18-year-olds flying over a fence.

According to local media, the young woman was diagnosed with heavy bruising to her head, pelvis and knees and has since been released from hospital.

Her boyfriend reportedly suffered concussion and a broken leg and will remain in hospital for a while longer.

It is unclear if the local authorities are investigating the accident.
