Special Effects Wiz Becomes Online Hit For Impossible Art Vids

A special effects wizard has become a hit on Chinese social media for his creative graphics which include sending ancient buildings flying through the air and dragging the moon across the sky.

Budding filmmaker Zhu Tiexiong comes from the city of Putian, in the south-eastern Chinese province of Fujian.

According to digital outlet Shine, Zhu, born in 1994, graduated university with a landscape gardening degree, but became fascinated by special effects and film production.

The young student taught himself how to film and use video-editing programmes to make eye-catching clips.

The videos show him sending ancient buildings flying in the air, changing the colour of cars in traffic, and even dragging the moon from the sky towards him.

According to Shine, Zhu works off a script and uses everyday life as an inspiration. He also makes videos based on his passion for painting and Kung Fu, needing around a week to complete each clip.

According to national news outlet Weibo International, Zhu plans to start making more meaningful films to challenge his growing audience.
