This 19-year-old trans woman has been badly beaten in front of her home and called a “freak” in an alleged hate attack by two men waiting for her.

The incident took place outside the victim’s home in the city of Barcelona located in the Spanish autonomous community of Catalonia on Friday, 20th November.

The victim has been identified as Eva Vildosola, 19, who has reported the incident to police.

She posted photos of herself after the attack which have gone viral with over 1.4 million likes.

In her statement, Eva claimed that she had just left her home when two unidentified men started yelling ‘f*cking tranny’, ‘monster’ and ‘freak’ and attacked her.

They punched her in the face twice and then kicked and beat her all over her body before stopping to allow her to run into her home, according to the trans victim.

Eva said: “This is what has happened to me but unfortunately it happens to a lot of trans people and it could have ended worse, I don’t do any harm to anybody.

“No more transphobia please, I don’t want to die tomorrow.

“And for those who did this to me, I hope you are never parents.”

The public prosecutor’s Hate Crimes department and the Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan police) are investigating the matter, but there have been no reports of arrests yet.
