This shows the huge synced-up rave – complete with coordinated lighting and music – put on by residents of three blocks of flats in Spain amid the Coronavirus lockdown.

The video was shared by netizen ‘djmoi9’ who said the clip was recorded in the city of Burgos in the autonomous community of Castile and Leon in north-western Spain.

The footage shows several blocks of flat coordinating to throw a party with lighting and music as residents join in from the balconies and windows, whistling and clapping along.

One resident appears to be using a smoke machine to keep the party atmosphere going as electronic music blares out.

Netizen ‘djmoi9’ wrote: “Sick! Burgos on top with the quarantine. Mega party with audiovisuals and lighting. Would you do it better BCN (Barcelona)?”

The clip has been widely shared with other netizens sharing other videos of neighbours partying at their windows and on their balconies.

The clip was shared by netizen ‘hectorpaton’ who wrote “my fu**ing neighbours. Against Coronavirus, quarantine with ‘Flying Free’”. It is unclear where in Spain the scene was recorded.

Local media reported that several people in Spain have taken the tune ‘Flying Free’ which became a hit in the electronic music scene of Barcelona in the late nineties as the anthem for freedom during the coronavirus quarantine.
