SLIDER-MAN: Hero In Flip-Flops Climbs 50ft Up Building To Save Trapped Boy

This is the nail-biting moment when a man wearing a pair of sliders clambers up the side of a building like Spiderman to rescue a boy stuck in the railings.

The drama – filmed from a nearby building – took place in Anshan, Liaoning province, north-eastern China and was first shared online on 24th October.

The footage opens with the boy’s lower body dangling dangerously through the guardrail outside the window of his family’s third-floor flat.

He looks as if he could fall through the narrow gap at any moment.

But nearby, an everyday hero apparently wearing socks and sliders can be seen scaling the building’s facade as he hops from guardrail to guardrail until he reaches him.

When he gets to the lad – who is bawling his eyes out – he bravely takes both hands off the rail and uses them to free him, relying only on his sporty flip-flops to keep him from a 50-foot fall.

The youngster is then able to climb back inside his flat to safety as the footage ends.

The clip garnered several comments when it was posted to social media.

‘Rong’er good things’ wrote: “Kudos to such a hero! While saving your children, you must also pay attention to your own safety!”

‘Hockey’s Grocery Store’ commented: “This kid is too skinny.”

And ‘Across the world’ remarked: “It seems that the installation of anti-theft windows in the building is still useful!”
