SLIDE RULE: Man Calculates Clever Way To Get Unused Bricks Down To The Ground

A resourceful man in central China has found a way to get unused bricks down from the second floor of his house after finishing a construction project.

The man, who was not named in local media in Pingdingshan, in the Henan Province, was filmed moving bricks while doing construction work at his home on 3rd December.

But instead of carrying them up and down the stairs for a long time, the man simply used a long metal tube to send them down in seconds.

The video shows how the bricks slide down and bounce off a tyre and into a one-wheel cart, saving the man a lot of effort.

The man who filmed the video, named as Mr Fan in local media, said that in order for the bricks to land into the cart accurately, the rebound angle must be mastered, and the angle of the brick when sliding is used for directional control.

He later shared the video on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.
