This is the moment a sexy world champion boxer kisses her opponent and receives a vicious slap in return at a weigh-in ahead of their fight tonight.
Polish WBO (World Boxing Organisation) super featherweight champion Ewa Brodnicka, 35, is preparing to defend her title this evening (Friday) against Argentine challenger Soledad Matthysse, 39, in the Polish city of Czestochowa in the south of the country,
The bout is set to take place this Friday 4th October after controversy during the weigh-in on Thursday 3rd October in which defending champion Brodnicka stole a kiss from her challenger and was met with a reaction she did not expect.
The video shows the moment Brodnicka and Matthysse pose face to face for the camera just inches from each other.
The Polish champ suddenly kisses Matthysse and smiles at her. Matthysse does not take long to slap Brodnicka square across the face.
Brodnicka responds in kind and slaps Matthysse back. The two are seen pushing and shoving before they are separated.
Brodnicka is currently undefeated with a streak of 17 wins, two by knockout. She most recently beat Mexican boxer Janeth Perez to retain her WBO world champion title in May this year and has been super featherweight champion since February 2018.
Matthysse has enjoyed a much longer career with 27 total professional fights. Her record is 16 wins, ten defeats and one draw. She is the sister of Lucas Matthysse who held the World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight title and World Boxing Council (WBC) interim super lightweight title.
