Singer Suffers Frostbite Filming Eurovision Bid Video

A glamorous Eurovision song contest entrant has posted pictures of the frost bite damage that she suffered while trying to shoot a video for the event while not wearing warm clothing.

Natalia Gordienco, 32, appeared in the Eurovision Song contest back in 2006 with her song “Loca” that came in 20th. But this year, she is hoping once again to represent her country Moldova and was preparing the video for the event in the snow.

She did not reveal what scantily clad costume she had been asked to wear while filming the video which will be used as part of her entry for the selection process this years event.

But she did post a picture of the severe frostbite that she apparently suffered saying: “I’m writing you this message while driving after a tough day spent in shooting scenes for the new “Prison” clip I’ll be participating in the national Eurovision selection in Moldova.

She said the injury shown in the photo were the results of shooting the new video clip named “Prison” which will be the one she is putting forward in a bid to represent the Republic of Moldova with in the 2020 Eurovision Song contest.

She added: “My hands are bleeding, I’ve even been to a hospital for some time after we were shooting the clip outside with barely 5 degrees Celsius where I had almost nothing on me. I console myself with the fact that it is all being done in the name of art and for great results.”

Netizens have reacted to the artist’s post, for example with ‘svetlana_svetlanoava’ who wrote: “Natalia, you are a wonderful person in this little country! We are proud of you with great love and appreciation!”

This year there are thirty six contestants in Moldova participating in national selection for participating in 2020 Eurovision Song contest.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2020 will be the 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. The contest will take place in Rotterdam, Netherlands, following the country’s victory at the 2019 contest in Tel Aviv, Israel, with the song “Arcade” performed by Duncan Laurence.
