Singer Arrested For Killing Pretty Wifes Murderer

A singer has been arrested for killing the man who allegedly stabbed his beautiful wife to death in an attempted mugging after a gig.

According to reports, the vocalist, identified as Richard Munoz, was leaving a venue in the town of Fusagasuga in the central Colombian department of Cundinamarca with his wife after performing a gig.

Two bikers on a motorcycle blocked their way and confronted the couple with blades, according to local media.

The victim, named as Charlotte Cobos, reportedly fought off one of the suspects and was stabbed twice in the chest.

Munoz pounced on the alleged knifeman and disarmed him, using the same weapon to kill him, according to local media.

However, reports said that Cobos died of her injuries in hospital while her distraught husband has been arrested for killing the suspect.

Meanwhile, the deceased suspect’s accomplice fled the scene on the motorbike and is still at large, according to local media.

The singer’s mother told reporters: “In pain, my son saw his wife dying and took the knife from one of them, killing the guy who murdered my daughter-in-law.

“Now, they have arrested my son. They are calling him a murderer and he is the one who is paying the consequences. Everything he did was in self-defence.

She added that the couple has “two small babies”.

Reports said that Munoz has been granted parole by a judge as the investigation continues. Local media report the Attorney’s General Office have requested the case be dismissed on ground’s of self-defence but a judge is yet to decide if the case should continue.

On social media, he wrote a message for his dead wife: “I love you, my brave little one. I love you so much, my darling. You will be the love of my life forever and ever.

“Thank you, with love, forever.”
