Sick Prankster Coughs Up Fake Blood On Train For Likes

This is the moment an online prankster pretends to cough blood on the tube in front of stunned commuters amid the COVID-19 outbreak, leading to his arrest.

The 23-year-old prankster, whose name has not been disclosed but goes by the moniker ‘Insta Prikoly’ on Instagram where he boasts 500,000 followers, recently carried out the prank on the underground system in the city of Almaty in southern Kazakhstan.

In the footage, the social media joker says that he is going to use fake blood for the prank before sitting in a carriage and pretending to cough into a tissue while sat next to commuters.

When stunned passengers spot the fake blood on the tissue, many of them get to their feet and moved away.

The subsequent video was uploaded on the prankster’s Instagram page where it racked up 35,000 views, prompting the local police to investigate the matter.

He was arrested on 15th March and is being held in police custody for 10 days, according to local media.

Police spokesperson Saltanat Azirbek told local media: “For the sake of so-called hype, the young man did not give a damn about moral or ethical norms. He has been brought into custody by the police for ‘petty hooliganism’.”

According to reports, the prankster has since apologised to the public for the incident, adding that he never intended to frighten anyone and that the video was only meant to be fun.
